: ~할 정도로 ~ 하다.

 

I was so cold yesterday to the point where I couldn't feel my toes.

 : 발가락 고통을 느낄 수 없을 정도로 어제 추웠어.

 

He screamed so loudly to the point where everyone around us looked at us.

 : 우리 주변의 모든 사람들이 쳐다볼 정도로 그는 크게 소리를 질렀다.

주어 get + to the point where + 주어 동사

 : 주어 동사 할 정도에 다다르다.

 

I got the point where I seriously considered quitting.

 : 진심으로 퇴사를 고려할 정도에 다다랐어.

 

The situation is getting to the point where we cannot be in the same room.

 : 우리가 같은 공간에 있을 수 없을 정도로 사태가 이르렀어.

 

It was so hot to the point where I couldn't fall asleep.

 : 잠에 들수 없을 정도로 더웠어.

 : 취미가 나를 지치게 할 정도에 이르렀다.

 : 밖에서 운동을 할수 없을 정도로 요즘 타는 듯이 덥다.

* Obsession : 집착

** Obsessisive : 집착적인

 Ex) He is obsessive : 그는 집착이 심해

*** Stan 

- 요즘 미국 슬랭! 

- 뜻은 찐팬. 미친팬. 

- Stalker + Fan.

If you're a crazy fan or obsessed fan of someone, then you say,

I STAN them!

ex) I stan Blackpink!! or I stan BTS!!

* wear down : 마모시키다, 해지게 하다, 지치다

** wear someone down.

 ex) I got to the point where my hobby wore me down.

 : 취미가 나를 지치게 할 정도에 다다랐다.

 

 ex) There's no doubt that he had a good year, but he seemed to wear down late in the season.

 : 그가 훌륭한 한 해를 보냈다는 거에는 의심할 여지가 없지만, 시즌 막바지에 지쳐 보이긴 했다.

* Scorching : 타는듯한

 It's been scorching hot.

 : 요즘 타는듯이 덥다.
